Go-Ahead London is the largest provider of bus services in London. We employ over 8,000 colleagues working from 17 locations. Our Finance Team provides a key analytical role for all departments and locations including providing analysis of costs by route, garage and company. The purpose of the team is to provide financial and operational information to support the business in making the best decisions by being forward thinking, proactive and timely.
We are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team based in Merton and reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager. The primary focus of the role will be to produce the period accounts for the company and individual locations together with variance analysis and weekly reporting.

We are looking for an individual who is actively studying for an accountancy qualification with ideally experience of TM1 and oracle. It is essential you have advanced computer skills and be a proficient user of Microsoft excel. Previous accounting experience is essential as is the ability to work with the existing team and communicate at all levels across the business.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed and grow and develop within our team, a fast learner with a hands-on approach who is transparent and honest and takes responsibility for their actions.
This role will be full time with a competitive salary dependant on skills and experience. The successful applicant would need to have a flexible approach and in return we can offer travel concessions on London Bus and Tube Network, an attractive annual leave entitlement and a contributory pension scheme.
