Want to work with the latest automotive technology?
Go Ahead London’s buses are on the Capital’s roads 24 hours a day. These vehicles cost anywhere between £125,000 – £500,000 and are equipped with the latest technologies and innovations. We expect them to be maintained to the highest standards and ready to go into service at a moment’s notice.
To achieve this we are looking to recruit Apprentice Technicians that are highly motivated and have the ability to learn and understand complex Mechanical and Electrical systems. On the job training is provided in our garages, which means that you learn from a more experienced member of staff. Off-site training is also provided at college on either day release or residential block release. You will obtain a Mechanical/Electrical Level 3 Apprenticeship in Bus and Coach Engineering Maintenance.
On completion of the apprenticeship you will be qualified to become a Senior Vehicle Engineer. For the right candidate there will be opportunities to build a successful career in the bus industry.
At Go Ahead London we look for a strong motivation to learn and a passion for the automotive industry. All applicants for our Apprenticeship go through a robust selection process which includes testing and interviews before finally being offered a position on our Apprenticeship scheme.
