PLEASE NOTE: This is a NIGHT SHIFT role, working Wednesday to Sunday (Nights), with Monday & Tuesday as rest days. A Day APM is also available through the correct advert.
As a Night Area Performance Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our night bus services run smoothly across London. Leading a team of Night iBus Controllers, you will be responsible for real-time service management, decision-making under pressure, and performance monitoring to meet and exceed service reliability targets.
Service Control & Management: Ensure reliable bus services by proactively managing operations using advanced iBus technology.
Incident Response: Handle emergencies, including accidents, road closures, and service disruptions.
Performance Improvement: Monitor QICs/QSI targets, analyse data, and implement strategies to enhance service reliability.
Leadership & Development: Support, coach, and manage a high-performing team of Night iBus Controllers.
Collaboration: Work closely with garages, engineering teams, Transport for London (TfL), police, and local authorities to keep London moving.
Strong Leadership & Communication Skills – Ability to influence and engage teams under high-pressure situations.
Experience in Operations or Control Room Environments – Ideally with live network management.
Proven Decision-Making Ability – Making quick, effective calls in dynamic situations.
Flexible & Resilient – Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Data-Driven & Performance-Oriented – Skilled at using data to drive operational improvements.
Salary : £59,000 + 10% shift allowance.
