We are seeking a Cover Garage Administrator to provide vital support to our management, supervisory, and driver teams. This role ensures smooth daily operations by managing administrative processes, maintaining compliance, and supporting our operational team. Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage the Garage Manager’s appointments, correspondence, and queries relating to uniforms, passes, licences, and permits.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate personnel records, duty logs, and filing systems.
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange meetings such as long-term sick interviews, medical appointments, and union discussions, ensuring paperwork is prepared in advance.
  • Health & Safety: Support Health & Safety initiatives within the garage.
  • Public Enquiries: Handle initial enquiries from the public, including lost property and correspondence.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out other administrative tasks as required by the management team and support future developments within the garage.

Qualifications

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills to work effectively with the public and colleagues at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work under pressure and manage detailed tasks accurately.
  • Technical Aptitude: Competence in computer-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, showing initiative and flexibility.

Special Working Conditions

  • Completion of internal training in GDPR and Equality & Diversity is required.
  • Confidentiality and sensitivity in handling data are essential to comply with data protection laws.
