Commercial Allocation Supervisor

The primary responsibility of the Commercial Allocation Supervisor is to efficiently manage driver allocation for contracts, rail replacement services, and events across multiple depots.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Allocation: Use the Duty Allocation System (DAS) to build and allocate work schedules, ensuring coverage for all contracts, rail replacements, and events.
  • Training Management: Schedule training sessions, monitor compliance, and maintain training records.
  • Absence Reporting: Document and communicate driver absences, maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Driver Queries Management: Handle driver queries and concerns via a dedicated phone line.
  • Collaboration with Planning Team: Work closely with the planning team to optimise driver resources and meet operational demands.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee driver allocation for special events, coordinating with event organizers to meet specific requirements.

 

Special Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to adapt to a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility being fully available to work various shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Primarily the role will be based at Sydenham, with the possibility of working at various operational sites across the Go-Ahead London network as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of supervising a large team, preferably in the transport sector.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and compliance with regulations.
  • Flexibility to work at different locations across the business.

Salary: £45,383 (raised to £48,625 after successful completion of level 3 apprenticeship)
