As a Garage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our management, supervisory,
and driver teams. You will ensure smooth daily operations by handling administrative tasks,
maintaining compliance, and providing essential support to our operational team. If you’re an
organised individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills, we’d love to hear
from you.


Key Responsibilities:


• Administrative Support: Organise the garage manager’s appointments, manage
correspondence, and handle various queries related to uniforms, passes, licences, and
permits.
• Record Keeping: Update and maintain personnel records, duty logs, and general filing
systems.
• Meeting Coordination: Arrange long-term sick interviews, medical appointments, and
prepare meeting packs for drivers and unions.
• Health & Safety: Proactively support Health & Safety matters within the garage.
• Public Enquiries: Handle initial public inquiries, including lost property and correspondence.
• Additional Duties: Undertake any additional tasks as requested by the management team
and support future developments within the garage.


What We’re Looking For:


• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with the public and a range of
colleagues, including drivers, engineers, and managers.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work under pressure and manage detailed tasks efficiently.
• Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in computer-based systems and basic software applications.
• Discretion: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and
discretion.
• Self-Motivation: Capability to work independently, showing initiative and flexibility.


Special Working Conditions:


You will be required to complete internal courses related to GDPR and Equality & Diversity.
